BENGALURU: The Karnataka crisis took a new turn today with the Supreme court asking rebels MLA’s to appear before the Karnataka Assembly Speaker at 6 pm today and resubmit their resignations. The apex court, which will hear the matter on Friday, has also requested the Speaker to take a decision today itself. • Legislators will wait till the governor asks for a floor test and ensure the government falls by crossvoting so that the speaker is replaced.
